What it’s about. Linna Yamasaki arrive à Tokyo, à présent Genom City depuis qu'un tremblement de terre a anéanti la cité quelques années plus tôt. Important sponsor de la police nationale, Genom incite l'état à créer l'AD Police, une division équipée de matériel lourd et chargée de circonscrire les « mad machines » pour éviter une mauvaise presse. Avec de luxueux pot-de-vins, la multinationale achève de museler les médias pour mieux préparer son Projet Showamm qui doit résoudre tous les problèmes de ressources en énergie au seul bénéfice de Genom…
