What it’s about. Flash Gordon et ses amis le docteur Zarkov et Dale Arden, embarquent dans une fusée pour y faire un voyage mais hélas, suite à un accident, les voici tous 3 projetés dans un monde étrange : La planète Mongo... Gordon et ses amis découvrent différentes cultures et technologies avancées, toutes sous la domination du cruel empereur Ming. Flash est alors pris sous la protection du Prince Barin, destitué par Ming de son trône. Il fera la connaissance d'Aura, la femme de Barin, la propre fille de Ming ! Tous ensemble, ils vont s'allier pour délivrer Mongo de la tyrannie de Ming et restituer le Prince dans ses fonctions.
