Elle traverse elle aussi une crise sentimentale, mais semble s'intéresser davantage au roman d'Antoine qu'à Antoine lui-même. Il revoit également monsieur Lucien, l'ancien amant de sa mère, qui a perdu sa fougue pour devenir un vieux monsieur respectable…
