What it’s about. Brillant avocat pénaliste, César Lévy est sollicité par Francis, un skinhead, accusé d'un crime raciste et retenu en détention préventive depuis trois ans. César découvre ses idées racistes et antisémites et refuse d'abord de le défendre. Mais lorsqu'il acquiert la certitude que le jeune homme est innocent du crime dont il est accusé, il décide finalement d'accepter de le prendre en charge. Il sait pourtant qu'avec ce client, il sera confronté à tout ce qu'il exècre. Au risque d'y laisser sa réputation, César prend fait et cause pour Francis, convaincu que même un homme aux idées douteuses a droit à une justice équitable...
