What it’s about. Avril 2012. Régulièrement, les soldats français rentrant d’Afghanistan font escale à Chypre dans un hôtel de luxe où l’armée leur organise un sas de décompression pendant trois jours. Parmi eux, Franck, Mario, Elsa, trois jeunes soldats qui ont participé à une opération militaire qui a mal tourné et où l’un de leurs camarades s’est fait égorgé devant leurs yeux. Le colonel Letellier est dépêché sur place. Sa mission : prévenir tout scandale ou toute accusation contre l’armée et tenter d’évaluer l’état psychique des soldats. Malgré l’aide d’une jeune psychiatre militaire, Laurence di Vanno, le jeune trio à la dérive nie le traumatisme qu’il a subi. Franck, Mario et Elsa semblent détenir un tout autre secret... Une vérité bonne à dire ? Ou simplement une vérité nécessaire à taire ?
