Son fiancé policier vient compliquer ses désirs romantiques. Lorsqu'il essaie d'éliminer Elmer en lui donnant des contraventions pour chaque infraction imaginable, la jeune fille a pitié du martyr Elmer et ils s'en vont ensemble. Elle l'informe qu'elle repousse également un autre prétendant, Oscar ; et pour aggraver les choses, son père soutient le flic tandis que sa mère fait la promotion d'Oscar. Finalement, les trois hommes finissent par se disputer sa main lors d'une cérémonie de mariage chaotique qui se termine par Elmer remportant sa bien-aimée.
