Released in 1984, Pom Pom is an action and comédie film directed by Joe Cheung Tung-cho, running about 100 minutes.

What it’s about. Ah Chau (Richard Ng) et Beethoven (John Shum) sont deux flics qui enquêtent sur un baron de la drogue, mais leur incompétence menace de faire échouer l'affaire. La police sait très bien que M. Sha (Chan Lung) est le patron du syndicat du crime de contrebande et de trafic de drogue, et qu'il conserve les détails de ses transactions criminelles dans un livre que tient sa maîtresse. Lorsque Beethoven et Ah Chau enquêtent, ils trouvent la maîtresse de Sha morte et compromettent par inadvertance toutes les empreintes digitales dans la cachette. Heureusement, ils sont assistés par la belle flic Inspecteur Anna (Deannie Yip), qui est secrètement attirée par Ah Chau.
