What it’s about. Dans une ville en ruine, un gang de voleurs à la solde d'un sordide chef (James Tien) compte insatiablement l'argent qu'ils viennent d'extorquer aux chinois indigents lorsqu'ils sont interrompus par Lung (Wang Yu) surnommé Le Dragon. Les bandits trop nombreux, il parvient in extremis à s'enfuir blessé mais en emportant le butin du gang. Se réfugiant dans la demeure d'un professeur d'arts martiaux, Lung est rapidement retrouvé par les brigands. Pas encore remis de ses blessures, il réussit encore à s'échapper grâce à l'intervention des disciples de l'instructeur. Quelques jours après, il est retrouvé inconscient près d'un lac par un jeune paysan du nom de Yang (Sam Hui).
