What it’s about. Le grand prêtre de l’araignée opprime le peuple depuis mille ans. Le guerrier venu l’affronter a été vaincu, mais une prédiction annonce la venue de son fils, Ator qui lui, vaincra le despote. Ce dernier envoie alors ses sbires à la recherche du nouveau-né. Mais Ator est sauvé de ce nouveau massacre des innocents par une sorte de sorcier patibulaire nommé Griba, qui le confie à des parents adoptifs. A l’âge adulte, Ator se prépare à se marier avec Sunia, sa soeur adoptive, mais celle-ci est enlevée lors de la cérémonie par les guerriers de l’araignée, après un violent massacre. Ator décide de la retrouver et d’en découdre avec son ennemi juré. Il va rencontrer Griba qui va lui apprendre à se battre, et l’envoyer à la recherche d’un bouclier magique qui rend invincible…
