What it’s about. En mission de routine, le vaisseau MK-31 commandé par le bouillonnant capitaine Hamilton intercepte un étrange signal qui perturbe les télécommunications sur Terre. Après analyses, le super ordinateur du commandement spatial affirme que le signal provient d’une intelligence extraterrestre qui est potentiellement dangereuse. Ordre est donné au capitaine Hamilton de trouver la source de l’émission et de la détruire. Le vaisseau est alors pris pour cible par deux soucoupes. Endommagé, le MK-31 est attiré vers une proche planète où il parvient à atterrir. L’équipage part en reconnaissance. Alors qu’ils sont isolés, deux de ces membres sont attaqués par des robots.
