Chieko Matsubara (née le 6 janvier 1945) est une actrice japonaise. Elle est surtout connue pour ses rôles dans Tokyo Drifter (1966) et la série Outlaw. Repérée lors d'un concours de beauté organisé par le studio Nikkatsu, Matsubara fait ses débuts en 1961, à l'âge de 16 ans, dans Yoru no chōsensha. Matsubara gagne en popularité et devient l'une des actrices représentatives de Nikkatsu. Elle apparaît dans plus de 100 films chez Nikkatsu.
