Riccardo Romano

Born 1989-10-21 · Florence, Italy

Riccardo Romano is an Italian writer and director. He was born in Florence in 1989. He studied linguistics and literature at the university of his city, after which he wrote his first short stories. The irresistible charm of the narrative and his great passion for cinema brought him closer to the seventh art, leading him to move to Milan to obtain a master's degree in screenwriting at the IULM University in 2017. In 2018 he began his career as an independent filmmaker traveling around Europe, writing screenplays for short films, working with directors from all over the world and, sometimes, directing himself. In the same year he co-founded his production company: Gradiente Cinematografico.
