The adventure film "Lord and Highness" (1944) directed by Jorma Nortimo and by Tapio Vilponen is based on the novel by Simo Penttilä. Lieutenant General J.J. Heikkilä (Tauno Palo), Commander of the Third Army of the United States Army of Mexico and Sonora Military Province, travels to the Republic of Sierra Leone with his military servant Tlaca (Oiva Luhtala) and Captain Silvio Spottorno (Jorma Nortimo). The trio unleashes political intrigues and helps the fair Marquis don Ramiro (Tauno Majuri). Women can't resist the handsome Heikkilä, who takes the heart of the beautiful Doña Camilla(Regina Linnanheimo).
