Matthew Serrano

Matthew Serrano is an independent filmmaker known for his work with the acclaimed Defunctland youtube channel. Specializing in documentaries in the theme park realm, Matthew first made a name for himself when he released his short documentary "Remain Seated Please" on his personal youtube channel. From a channel with zero subscribers, it quickly garnered a quarter of a million views and caught the attention of Kevin Perjurer of Defunctland fame. Together they made the feature documentary "Live From the Space Stage: A Halyx Story" which was released online during the Covid-19 pandemic to critical acclaim. Matthew Serrano currently works and lives in North Hollywood.
