Alexandre Miguel dos Santos Silva (born 29 May 1997) is a Portuguese filmmaker, producer and assistant director. Born in Lisbon and grew up in the suburban city of Odivelas, where he attended the E/B 2,3 Vasco Santana School for five years, he began to get in touch with the world of cinema, by watching several films that awakened his cinematic interest. Moving to high school to study and learn about cinema and audiovisual, he went to the António Arroio Artistic School, where he attended the Audiovisual Communication - Cinema and Video course for 3 years. Then he specialized in the assistant director role, after going to the Lusófona University of Humanities and Technologies where he graduated in Film, Video and Multimedia Communication in 2019. After his college year, he co-founded the "Alfândegas Sem Fronteiras" producitions, where he directed his first fiction short film The Magic Trick (2020).
