Aquaman (2018): cast, story & where to watch

What it’s about. Once home to the most advanced civilization on Earth, Atlantis is now an underwater kingdom ruled by the power-hungry King Orm. With a vast army at his disposal, Orm plans to conquer the remaining oceanic people and then the surface world. Standing in his way is Arthur Curry, Orm's half-human, half-Atlantean brother and true heir to the throne.

Who’s in it. Aquaman stars Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry / Aquaman, Amber Heard as Mera, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko and Patrick Wilson as King Orm Marius / Ocean Master, among others.

How it landed. With an audience score of 6.9/10, Aquaman has drawn a solid, mixed-to-positive response. It went on to earn $1.1B at the box office.
