Blood Haven is the first feature film about the scam targeting Vietnamese people seeking overseas employment. Believing promises of "easy work and high pay," many young people are taken to these "special zones," where they are held captive and forced to make phone calls to scam their own compatriots. Many of them manage to escape the hell they have fallen into.
