Fünfzig Jahre nach dem spektakulären Philadelphia- Experiment, bei dem David Herdeg von dem entmaterialisierten Zerstörer in die Zukunft geschleudert wurde, gerät der ehemalige Navy-Offizier erneut in das elektromagnetische Feld geheimer Experimente des Militärwissenschaftlers Dr. William Mailer. Während Mailer den Nuclear Stealth-Bomber in das Jahr 1943 zurückkatapultiert und somit den Verlauf der Geschichte ändert, wird Herdeg in die alternative Zeitebene des Jahres 1993 geschleudert. Um die Menschheit vor dieser grausamen Zukunft zu retten, muß Herdeg in die Vergangenheit gelangen und den ungeborenen Machthaber töten.
