What it’s about. Die Geschichte des Animes Arc the Lad folgt dem jungen Kopfgeldjäger Elk auf seiner Reise durch eine merkwürdige, futuristische Welt, in der fortgeschrittene Technologie und primitive Einstellungen sowie Monster und Magie Seite an Seite existieren. In einer solchen Welt muss man natürlich auch nicht lange suchen, um Bösewichte und zwielichtige Organisationen zu finden, die sich die Methoden dieser Welt zunutze machen, um mächtige Monster, sogenannte Chimären, zu züchten und für ihre Zwecke zu missbrauchen. Es dauert nicht lang bis Elk eine junge Bestienmeisterin namens Lieza rettet und sich somit viele Feinde macht, denn Lieza besitzt die seltene Gabe, Monster und somit auch die gezüchteten Chimären zu kontrollieren …!
