What it’s about. Alors qu'Elk, un Hunter, part sauver les otages d'un aéronef, il tombe nez à nez avec une jeune fille qui a été enlevée. Elle s'appelle Lieza et possède le pouvoir d'apprivoiser les monstres et de guérir les blessures. Elle est accompagnée de Pandit, une sorte de lion bleu qui peut cracher de la glace. D'abord par accident puis par choix, Elk devient le protecteur de Lieza. Mais la tête de Elk est à son tour mise à prix, car c’est lui qui se retrouve accusé de l’enlèvement de la jeune fille ! Elk se fixe désormais l'objectif de découvrir qui pourchasse Lieza et de continuer à traquer le légendaire Arc the Lad, l'assassin de ses parents quand il était encore enfant.
