What it’s about. La ejecución de un hombre se emite en directo a través de Internet. Es uno más de los horribles crímenes cometidos por un asesino en serie que está convencido de que todas las atrocidades que perpetra forman parte de una misión religiosa. Charlie Gaines, un policía de Nueva York, es la persona encargada de investigar el caso. Cuando queda de manifiesto que no se trata de un psicópata cualquiera, interviene en el caso Adam, un experto de seguridad en la red, aunque sus métodos y los de Gaines son radicalmente opuestos.
