Roland, qui est écrivain, tente de trouver l'inspiration en se baladant dans les rues du village, tandis que Vanessa tue son ennui sur la terrasse de la villa. Un jour, Vanessa aperçoit un trou dans le mur, regarde et découvre quelque chose qu'elle n'aurait pas dû voir. La crise dans le couple atteint alors son paroxysme…
