Réincarnation (2006) : distribution, intrigue et streaming

Released in 2006, Réincarnation is a horreur and mystère film directed by Takashi Shimizu, running about 96 minutes. “Death Is Only The Beginning.” — that tagline sets the tone.

What it’s about. Il y a 35 ans, un massacre est commis dans un paisible hôtel de tourisme... Pris d'une crise de folie, un professeur d'université se livre à un véritable carnage, faisant 11 victimes parmi les clients et le personnel de l'hôtel et assassinant toute sa famille, tout en enregistrant ses meurtres à l'aide d'une caméra vidéo. Aujourd'hui, le réalisateur Matsumura s'apprête à porter ce fait-divers à l'écran sous le titre Réminiscence. Il choisit la jeune actrice Nagisa Sugiura pour en tenir le rôle principal. Alors que le tournage approche, Nagisa est la proie de rêves atroces et d'hallucinations morbides. C'est alors que Matsumura annonce à son équipe son intention de tourner son film sur les lieux mêmes du massacre...

Who’s in it. Réincarnation stars Yûka as Nagisa Sugiura, Kippei Shiina as Ikuo Matsumura, Tetta Sugimoto as Tadashi Murakawa and Shun Oguri as Kazuya Omori, among others.

How it landed. With an audience score of 5.9/10, Réincarnation has drawn a solid, mixed-to-positive response. It went on to earn $4.7M at the box office.
